The International Food and Agribusiness Management Association (IFAMA) is thrilled to be holding our 2024 World Conference in Almería, Spain in June. Triptolemos Foundation is member of Board of Directors of Ifama and its particular vision of Food Systems has inspired the structure of the congress. The Triptolemos Foundation will offer a conference where will explain its original vision of food Systems articulated in 4 axes. The Foundation will also participate in round tables.
The annual international conference is unique in that it brings together primary sector leaders from the agribusiness industry, academia, government, consumer groups, and non-governmental organizations.
This article highlights what makes Almería an exciting and inspired location for this event. The region produces vast amounts of food with relatively little water. Almería has transformed the agriculture sector using innovative and sustainable growing methods. The conference theme is “Food Security through Innovation and Sustainability.”
