The Committee for Agriculture and Rural Development (AGRI) of the European Parliament, held on March 16, 2021 the public hearing on “Enabling innovation for sustainable agriculture” in which the Triptolemos Foundation was invited to participate with the topic: Innovation for a Food System Sustainable.
During the public exhibition, emphasis was placed on the importance of science (different technologies) to face agricultural and food challenges with the sustainable food system approach shared by the members of the Foundation.
The objective of the public hearing is to advise the members of the Committee on the options for a more sustainable European agriculture (farm-to-table strategy, biodiversity and CAP proposal 2022-2027).
