The balance between food availability and preservation of the environment has become harder to achieve in recent decades. In the end, we could ask: Shall we save the planet or shall we save humanity? In my opinion, the challenge is to have a balance. But what can we do to achieve this balance? As the FAO nailed it in their 2017 report, one thing is certain: “Business-as-usual is not an option.”
