On December 11, 2019, a new meeting of the commission for the elaboration of an orientation program for the creation of university education in the field of gastronomy that is coordinating the CEI’s RED of Triptolemos Foundation was held at CETT_UB. meeting was held at the ANECA headquarters in Madrid, earlier this year with the aim of organizing a working group with representation of the most prominent Spanish universities in the field of gastronomy, to write a document that helps university institutions of the Spanish University System to program new undergraduate and master studies on topics related to gastronomy. In this first meeting, chaired by the director of the Division of Teaching and Institutions Evaluation, Miguel Ángel Sastre Castillo, by the director of the Triptolemos Foundation , Yvonne Colomer, and the director of the Management Board of the CIS Network With Agroalimentary activity of the Foundation, Màrius Rubiralta, 22 universities participated, most of them integrated in the CEIs NETWORK, private university institutions and hotel and tourism schools, represented by 30 people, with positions of vice-rectors, directors and coordinators responsible for the culinary and postgraduate culinary and teaching studies of the Spanish geography. The Technical Drafting Commission responsible for drafting the Guidance document for the Teaching of the Gastronomy Field was formalized, the calendar and the date of completion, as well as the corresponding work schedule and methodology.
