Presentation of the Recommendations Guide for the action published by the Alliance Against Hunger and Malnutrition of Spain

The guide includes a dozen concrete actions to achieve the sustainability of food production systems resulting from the conclusions of the third annual meeting of this body, held last June in Oviedo, in which forty speakers, from different fields, composed tables for reflection and debate.

Antonio Blanco, co-author of the book “The Food System” of Fundación Triptolemos, stressed that giving this problem a “systemic nature” is already a novelty in itself, since all the round tables highlighted this “multidisciplinary approach”. In addition, the guide includes the importance of analyzing the contradictions of the legislative model and the economic model in the face of sustainable development.
